Curve Collaboration

Bringing stories to life: a bold collaboration with Curve Theatre

Our exciting partnership with Curve Theatre offers Drama and Theatre Arts BA (Hons)  students the unparalleled opportunity to perform and work in a professional theatre environment. Each year, our annual co-production with Curve delivers a fresh, dynamic retelling of a classic work.

Following last year’s creative adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, directed by Curve’s Associate Director, Cara Nolan, audiences are invited to experience another exciting new production from 28–31 May 2025. Stay tuned for the upcoming title announcement!

This long-standing collaboration has seen our students take the stage in iconic productions, including Road (2023), Oh What a Lovely War (2022), Blood Wedding (2021), Enron (2019), The Crucible (2018), and many more. Beyond acting, students gain hands-on industry experience, working as assistant directors and stage managers, while some secure leading and supporting roles in Curve’s Young Company and annual Community Productions.

This immersive, real-world experience empowers our students with confidence, professional skills, and industry connections, preparing them for successful careers in theatre, performance, and beyond.
