Fernanda Amaral is a researcher at Media Discourse Centre (MDC - ÉëÒ÷Ö®Íõ/UK) and holds a doctorate in Media Discourse from ÉëÒ÷Ö®Íõ. Her work focuses on voice poverty, state violence and social movements, especially in marginalised communities and their struggles to produce counter-narratives supported by digital tools.
