Personal profile

Dr. Athina A. Kosti studied Applied Mathematics at University of Crete (Greece), where she gained her B.Sc.. Then, she obtained her M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics at Kapodistrian University of Athens (Greece), and in 2011 she received her Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics at University of Peloponnese (Greece).

Her research interests lie in the fields of Numerical analysis, Development and analysis of numerical algorithms, Numerical solution of initial/boundary value problems, Computational methods for the solution of real problems in physics, medicine, engineering, material science, chemistry, etc.

As a Ph.D. candidate, she was teaching in tertiary education Numerical Analysis and Calculus and their laboratories, including Matlab and Mathematica. Moreover, she has participated as presenter and was a member of the organising committee in conferences. Finally, since 2018 she has been working as lecturer in Mathematics in School of Computer Science and Informatics (ÉëÒ÷Ö®Íõ).
